As we continue to face the global challenge of responding to Covid-19, we remain focused on caring for the health, security and wellbeing of our guests and employees, and continue to operate our hotel with both our head and our heart during these difficult times.

We are closely monitoring the coronavirus (Covid-19) developments and will continue to prioritise the safety of our guests and employees. We are aware of the latest travel advice issued by government agencies and are monitoring all updates issued by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centres for Disease Control (CDC).

We are delighted to be open once more and look forward to welcoming our guests with exceptional service and warm hospitality, alongside stringent safety and sanitation protocols to place our guests’ and teams’ wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.

As a hospitality business, we take our role very seriously and we have always employed stringent safety and sanitation protocols, and we will continue to do so (with special measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19).

We remain united when it comes to appreciating the reality of the situation, but also in the hope we have for the future. We are doing everything we possibly can to ensure the health and safety of our hotel during this time and will continue to closely monitor and follow the guidance of relevant organisations and officials.

Precautionary measures

We have always employed stringent sanitation protocols and we will continue to do so (with special measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19). We are following the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centres for Disease Control (CDC). In the short term our staff will be asked to wear protective masks, we will ensure there is space to accommodate physical distancing and where we feel we need to make changes to the guest experience, we can assure you our level of service and the generous hospitality for which we are renowned will remain.

Personal responsibility

We have introduced enhanced hygiene protocols – for you, our other guests and our team members. An inherent risk of exposure to Covid-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Covid-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. We ask that you please take personal responsibility for your wellbeing. This begins with packing any personal protective equipment and sanitisers you require. Please adopt physical distancing and hygiene practises throughout your pre-trip travel arrangements and follow all health instruction whether physical signage, or requests from our professional staff, once you are staying with us. In choosing to stay at The Laggan, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to Covid-19. Let’s help keep each other safe and healthy.
